Dr Abs has been passionate about aesthetic medicine ever since his teens. He realised the positive impact it creates for patients, often transforming their lives through improving self confidence and self worth. He embarked on a mission to become the very best cosmetic doctor he could, enabling him to create positive change for as many people as possible.
After graduating from the University of Leeds in dentistry, he has gone on to complete numerous advanced courses in aesthetic medicine and dentistry from experts around the world. He uses his perfectionist eye to bridge dentistry and facial aesthetics together to showcase his unique ability to deliver beauty and symmetry. He is also passionate about dermatology and technology in medicine. His approach is multidisciplinary; using many different non-surgical options together such as skincare, injectables and devices.
Dr Abs’ background enables SkilD delegates to develop both an understanding of facial aesthetics as well as anatomy, biochemistry, cosmetic dermatology and the latest medical technology. This means delegates leave our courses with a truly holistic understanding of aesthetic medicine using evidenced based research.

Dr Ruth is a multi-award winning cosmetic doctor who has been nationally recognised for her work in the field of aesthetic medicine. Her expertise in teaching the peri-oral region and full facial analysis is second to none. Dr Ruth frequently teaches large groups of healthcare professionals performing live aesthetic demonstrations as well as one to one mentorship. She is currently a serving member of OFAA (Occulo-facial Aesthetics Academy) – part of the prestigious King’s College faculty and regularly teaches on their cadaver courses. Through the quality of her work, patients from across the UK travel to York to undergo aesthetic treatments.

She specialises in full facial analysis and has the ability to explain advanced techniques to delegates by working through theory and clinical practice. Dr Ryan is an international speaker and key opinion leader within the field of aesthetic medicine. He is both a cosmetic doctor as well as an expert trainer and serving Chairman of the not-for-profit organisation: The Aesthetics Academy. Dr Ryan is regularly invited to speak at world renowned conferences and serves both as an adviser and expert speaker representing leading healthcare companies and publications. He is an expert member of the ACE group and advises on the management of aesthetic complications.
He has over a decade of experience supporting new entrants into the aesthetics industry. He enables novices to develop a proficient understanding of anatomy, injection techniques and managing the risk of aesthetic complications.
